PM SHRI Schools

PM Shri Schools” is a centrally sponsored scheme by the Government of India. The initiative aims to develop over 14500 PM SHRi Schools for an emerging India where every student is welcomed and cared for, where a safe and inspiring learning environment exists, where a wide range of learning experiences are offered, and where good physical infrastructure and appropriate resources conducive to learning are available to all students.

More than 20 lakh students are expected to be the direct beneficiaries of the scheme. 730 KVs have been selected as PM Shri Schools. The scheme is proposed to be implemented over a period of 5 years from 2022-23 to 2026-27.

They will lead in their respective regions in providing high quality education in an equitable, inclusive and joyful school environment that takes into account the diverse backgrounds, multilingual needs and different academic abilities of children and makes them active participants in their own learning process as per the vision of NEP 2020.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Dhar is focused on this backdrop and PM Shri Schools are the first schools to be set up in the country. Pm Shri KV is committed to providing a quality educational environment in the form of Kendriya Vidyalaya. Kendriya Vidyalaya Dhar is continuously moving towards achieving its goal by taking forward the resolution of the India of dreams of the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji by providing all the facilities to the students such as bilingual education, skill development education, computer based education, intellectual development through education in a playful manner as well as incorporating the consciousness of the all-round development of the student.
